This page has details about how to assemble and repair the mechanics of the Crazyflie.
Being a quadcopter there's no real front but since it's a lot easier to control it if we have the idea of forward/backward/right/left we decided in software where the “front” is.

The following images show how to solder the motors and attach the propellers. The black pads should have the black wire attached and the white pads should have the white wire attached.
