This wiki is one of several sources of information for Bitcraze projects, here is a rough guide of where to look:

  • Web: Product information, tutorials and company information - all you need to get started.
  • Wiki: In depth documentation, specifications, architecture - the nitty gritty details.
  • Forum: Discussions and help - ask questions and discuss with the community and Bitcraze.
  • Github: Implementation discussions, project specific documentation and issue trackers - all the sources when you want to explore, improve and contribute.


Everything is open for contributions and we love your input!

  • The sources for the web and other projects are on github, contribute through pull requests.
  • On the forum you can easily create a user and you are good to go.

Expansion decks for Crazyflie 2.0

  • LED-ring deck: The deck is designed to be installed on the bottom of the Crazyflie 2.0.
  • Buzzer deck: Designed to be installed either on the top or the bottom of the Crazyflie 2.0.
  • BigQuad deck: With the BigQuad deck you can transform your Crazyflie 2.0 to a bigger quad.
  • Qi charger deck: The Qi wireless charging deck allows charging the Crazyflie 2.0 battery with a standard Qi wireless charger.
  • Prototyping deck: The prototyping deck allows electronic circuits to be attached on Crazyflie 2.0.
  • Breakout deck: Makes all 20 pins in the Crazyflie 2.0 expansion port available.
  • micro-SD deck: Adds the possibility to read and write files to micro-SD card.
  • Z-ranger expansion deck: Expansion deck for precise height control.
  • Bosch Sensortec expansion deck: Expansion deck with a variety of Bosch Sensortec sensors

Radio USB dongels

  • Crazyradio: The Crazyradio is a 2.4 GHz radio USB dongle.
  • Crazyradio PA: The Crazyradio PA is a 2.4 GHz radio USB dongle with a power amplifier.

Local position system

  • Indoor positioning: The local positioning system is based on the DecaWave DWM1000 module.




Since a lot of the documentation is shared among different projects it's been collected in a separate structure.
